I would encourage you to embrace moments that may not appear to be so wonderful on the outside – these are the unique moments that can open up your eyes, make you realize who you want in your life and who you don’t, and can help you make better choices for you. Sometimes these negative moments can be a fabulous source for inspiration. I believe they are the hidden gems. Just as we may not like the rain, it is the rain that enables plants to grow and thrive, and is important for all of our survival. We need the rain even though we may prefer to avoid it and not get wet. As the common saying goes, “Without rain, there would never be rainbows”. Hidden gems are intrinsic to the fabric of life.
